Calibrating your accelerometers according to a reference surface is pretty easy; pose your iPhone/iPod Touch on a reference surface, touch the Calibrate button, then Done and your accelerometers are calibrated according to your reference surface ! Now you can compare slopes and levels of other surfaces to the reference surface !
